Then every two years cancel and switch the contract to spouses name - so we rotate every two years for cable and internet between it in my name and my husbands. Just did it and it went fine. Wish I did it sooner. You cannot keep your phone number if you do this which is why you pull the phone off.
What about your email adresses? Do you just not use Verizon's?
We have our own domain and do not use theirs. My husband may but I don't know what he does. You would probably lose them too.
Thanks for answering unlike the rude PP. Of course I also use gmail, but we've had Verizon for years before fios and have lots of accounts where I would just need to change the email associated with them. As I type it out, it doesn't seem like a big deal, but you know like the phone number it's just one of those things you have to think about changing.
I'm not thrilled about google and privacy, so I like your suggestion about using our own domain. We have one of those, but I haven't used it for an email address.
