Why are you paying cash for this? Use the app and pick up at the drive thru. You can choose to tip, or not, in the app.

I tip a dollar like every 3rd time. My friends 17yo kid worked at one and was making $15 an hour. So they get a decent wage, but I also think they work really hard too and have to keep a lot memorized.

I don’t get it either. My local bakery has a tip jar out too. I go in and grab a loaf of bread and pay. What am I expected to tip for? You sell bread. I’m buying it. The bakers get paid a wage. Everyone wants a tip for everything.

+1 and I say this as a former barista. You’re paid a great wage with truly great benefits, nothing at all like a server making $2/hour.

I always round up to the nearest dollar at Sbux. My little independent neighborhood coffee shop, I give a little more.
