Kasich is not a real Republican. He just hasn't realized it yet. The Cruz and Trump wings are what's left. I'm not naturally a Democrat, but it's been a long time since the Republicans had room for the Eisenhower wing. Basically since Nixon's southern strategy. Southern conservatives have always been the most toxic force in American politics.

Yep. And -GASP- I'm one too! Technically I'm a conservative not a Republican but DH definitely is.

My DH had some Republican tendencies when we met but I (with a lot of help from the presidency of George w. Bush) cured him of his misguidedness.

Rubio was my guy too (as well as my DH’s). I will vote - but I WILL NOT vote for Hillary. I think she is the most dangerous of all.
