GDS Acceptance -- 9th Grade Boy

Just received acceptance email w/enrollment contract!!! So happy and relieved. Good luck, everyone.

It seems that they are one of the last to notify?

If it helps to know, we are a sibling family and we have not heard anything yet either. Hang in there everyone.

Why wouldn't they email WL or rejections? I just don't get it.

The acceptance email was attached to the enrollment contract. So maybe the thought is that if they don't send an enrollment contract they don't send anything.

I still don't have my list and I am assuming all the parent callers will get them at the same time.

Has anyone received an acceptance call from GDS?

Sometimes, but rarely, the parent volunteer caller doesn't call in a timely fashion for whatever reason (family emergency? putting out fires at work?). Also check your home phone.

We received a waitlist letter last year but it was slow to arrive. It was actually the last response we received (maybe around March 3) but I'd already gathered from the posts here that DS didn't get in. Fortunately, we had 2 acceptances and my son loved both those schools.
