Do you even understand how these medications work. Ironically, review studies show that MRIs of those on meds for long term look more similar to non-ADHD brain images than to unmedicated ADHD peers. So perhaps the medications facilitate the correct neural pathways to finally be utilized.

?? Or just a mom with a 5 year old whose greatest impairment from ADHD was social functioning, until we started meds and he made major progress... Yes, I use drugs when warranted.
