PP here who referenced the FAQ. I was assuming the timelines are same every year as Nov application and Jan testing timelines are still the same from previous years.
By the way I am hoping I am wrong and we Do get the letters sooner... I hate to wait... I want to know one way or the other.
I also tried looking in Pine Crest website... I couldn't find the open house information anywhere!

^ Ok, so that leaves the open house listed as the only concrete reference point. That suggests the timeline is the same as last year, letters March 13 or so.

Who is eligible to apply to the program? What is the process?
All Grade 3 students are eligible to apply and have been mailed applications. Selection for the program is highly competitive
due to a limited number of seats. An application is required, followed by testing. You will be notified by mail in late
November of the testing date. Testing will take place at your child’s current elementary school in January during the school
day. Selection decisions will be mailed to parents in April.

Please look at the date on the FAQ, it is not updated.

Pine Crest Open House is March 21 (according to school newsletter) so letters will probably come the week prior.

Where do I find the date for the open house at Barnsley? Are they all the same date?

If your child gets in it will be a large envelope.

Also I think admitted letter may be a little thicker because it has an extra piece of paper which is invitation to the open house.

General feeling seems to be that kid needs to get above or near the median of admitted students on 2 of the 3 sections and not tank the other.

with test scores that (usually) give you a sense of why your child did/did not get in.
