Easier actually; they re-normed in 1989; basically add two points to your 1986 score to match current scores.
I got a 35 in about 1992 so I guess that means now I'd get...a 37? (Kidding.)

NP. It is a good score but not great. Truly. Not being snobby. This is based on personal experience with college applications in the past year. 33 and up are great scores.

It's a 31 out of 36. How would you expect it to be 99th percentile? I got a 34 back in the day and I can't remember whether that was 99th percentile.
Didn't the ACT ceiling used to be 35?
