One of my child's classmates lives on the hill, says his commute is 30 minutes.

Anonymous wrote:Our DC is at CMI and I avoid North Capitol by taking Rock Creek Church Rd down to 4th St and then a left onto Florida. There is no traffic this way.

From where?
Coming from Bloomingdale. Not sure if it's worth it for us to include it on our list if the commute would suck. My office is at Penn Quarter. Not sure if there is any way to avoid N Cap.
I go to YY close to CM from Truxton Circle, up 1St NW to R St NW to N. Cap. Takes about 15 minutes given traffic. After parking and walking kid into school and drive back home takes about an hour but I go back down 1St NW from Rhode Island. I would estimate about an hour drive round trip to CM. It's mostly the traffic back downtown that is a PITA.
Maybe you'll get into MV...
My son has a classmate whose parents bring her up from Bloomingdale (I dont' know where they go after), but they say it's easy going up North Capital.
. May be a deal breaker for us. Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:How is the commute to CMI?
