What does it mean that "a star is shone"?

Not being snarky here. I really have no idea what OP is trying to say. Was shone an autocorrect for "shown"? In which case, shown what?

Otherwise, how does a star get shone (as opposed to shining itself)?

PP here. I meant to say that Fr. Scalia has been a real force in steadying the Bishop against the "house Jose, Maria and their baby Jesus" business.

The World is only just now witnessing the True Holiness of this man, someone who would surely be a Bishop right now were it not for the Interloper who has placed himself in Saint Peter's Throne.

Note I don't say "born" because for a number of years we at St. Thomas More Cathedral and School have been blessed to shine in his reflected Holiness. Father Scalia has shown himself to be a beacon of the Church, challenging the unworthy to raise themselves to be one of the Many in full Communion with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He now brings this rigorous Holiness to the world, cleansing those who misunderstand and fear what in another thread was called "judgyness" (sic).

Where's "Cool story, bro" poster?

Glad to hear this. I'm starting to think OP is hoping for some Godfather III scenario.

And I thought the senate respected the constitutional responsibilities of the president, until Scalia died.

Except it's OK if that's what Jesus wants, and somehow they know what that is.

Isn't Fr. Paul Scalia associated with Opus Dei? I thought I read that somewhere- it might explain the weird comments/ obscure references on this thread. Opus Dei is a seriously frightening wing of the Church.

Interloper?...OP, the 16th century just called, they'd like their medieval values back.

Yes, humble but with steely resolve. He set up a meeting with a renegade "Catholic" (Think old hippies). They brought in all well known canon lawyer. The other Diocesan officials crumbled, but not Father Scalia. He has seen a few good lawyers, you know! Father used the meeting to get these people on the record. When this Pope moves on, they'll get taken care of.

This all sounds very Christian.

you are terrifying if you are not a troll. So glad Scalia is dead and that brand of Catholicism no longer has any control over our nation.

+1! OP, you sound crazy!

Turn it down a bit, honey. You're on Earth and Triumphalism is heresy. Jesus would not approve.
