Look, there is no "norm" in a free market system. Where are you from? Why don't you simply pull your kid if you think there's a better deal somewhere else. You sound like a pita. I'd charge you triple, just for that.

I know that by the time my second child entered her care, her published rates had increased from the $150/week that was published when I started with my DD.
