Our first cat lived to be 24 1/2. She started as an indoor only cat, but kept escaping and finally won the battle. Runt of the litter, rescued from a farmer drowning a bag of kittens.

Loved everyday we had her. Still miss her...and she died in 1993

This is very true.

Cats should be fed mostly wet food - annoying as that is. Their bodies and digestive systems are made to digest more fleshy, wet food, rather than dry kibbles.

Not always. My cats died young, but they ate more healthily than I did.

Mine lived to be 17 and died of kidney disease.

My moms cat just passed at age 23. She was an indoor outdoor cat.
