Wow. I clearly need to join you all at work. I'm still trying to crack $35k. That's a struggle with just me and 1 kid.

i work 9-3pm and telecommute full time. I drop off/pick up the kids at school daily and I don't need to use any childcare.

I make $95K/year. It's not always the most stimulating job but it lets me work and basically be a SAHM at the same time.

Lawyer, 225k, 9-5 but work at home after bedtime as needed to get stuff done. Completely flexible, nobody cares when I work as long as the work is getting done.

$230K as a hi-tech consultant. 100% WAH except for client meetings...occasional travel. Right now my hours are pretty manageable (we're buidling up my practice group). I block off 9-5 every day, but log in after DD goes to bed when necessary.

DD is 2y.o. and we're expecting #2. We have a FT nanny during the day.

WAH Fed. Make $160k.

I won't walk away because of great flexibility. I pick up kids everyday from school. No commute.

Almost exactly +1 but I work 2 days at home and 2 in office and make $85,000. Sometimes I consider staying home bc DH makes $300,000+ but I have so much flexibility and I want to hold on to that when kids are in elementary school.

I make $130K + 20-30% bonus as in-house counsel, work from 8:30-6:30 most nights, travel about 4 times a year for 1-2 nights, and work about 8 weekend days a year. I love my job but if DH were making enough to afford the lifestyle I want, I'd SAH in a heartbeat.

We use Skype for Busness for this. So people can "see" that you are working and we can do virtual meetings, IM, and phone calls through our laptops.

I work in a marketing role at a non-profit and could definitely make more money somewhere else but the flexibility, reasonable work load, and a boss I really like make the lower salary totally worth it. Maybe when the kids are older (they are 10 & 12) I will shift to something more challenging but right now I'm very happy.

Also, I was a SAHM until my youngest was in K. My salary pretty much goes to college savings, home improvements, travel. We could do without it if we had to, since we did for a long time. But I'd rather work now. Once the kids were in school I found it boring to be at home all day.

$110K, generally in the office 8am-4:30 plus WAH one day a week. Hours are flexible and I can WAH whenever I need to. It's extremely rare for me to be asked to stay after 4:30 or to need to work evenings/weekends. And, my job really can be done in about 30 hrs a week except for occasional busy times. Travel maybe 2x a year for a couple days.

$185k plus bonus of 8-12% in finance. I telework full time and travel on average once a month (one night away from home). I have loads of flexibility and enjoy the work for the most part. Generally sign in around 9:00 (after getting kids off) and sign out around 5:00. I rarely work after hours but if I have a deadline and didn't get finished during the work day, then I will work after kids are asleep.

$142k for about 40 hours a week on average. I can go in early or late and leave whenever. I have good flexibility and can telework whenever I need or want to but generally go into the office. I do have busy periods where I work evenings or weekends (from home) but it still generally averages about 40 hours since I can flex my time within the month. Because of this I usually have a pretty healthy PTO balance and we take several weeks off a year. Or I can save 240 hours for maternity leave like I'm doing now. I have a 2 yo and one on the way. DH just left a stressful job with no flexibility and is working about 30 hours a week for similar pay (he makes about $80-100k). This has been awesome because he can do most drop off/ pick up and does a lot around the house. And I'm pregnant and exhausted!

$120k with 2 work from home days and a lot of flexibility. Like my job, am committed to my career. Have a 4 and 7 year old and a very involved husband who does as much if not more than I do on the home front. My salary is nice but he makes significantly more, we could get by without it. I've always wanted to work and always saw myself as a a working mom.
