Very, very well hidden indeed.

Conn Coll is in the NESCAC which is probably good for its reputation but it's widely recognized to be the least prestigious of the member institutions.

Conn College isn't. You may be thinking of Trinity.

Conn College is. Both are NESCAC schools and in the same vein.

Can you elaborate on this? What makes it a good fit for your child? That would be helpful for those of us considering the school for our own kids. Thanks!

I went to Conn, and loved it. Wonderful college! Still have fond memories over 15 years later.

Why not?

Because they don't want any.

Hard to believe, but some students despise Greek life.

Good engineering in a LAC environment.

My DC went to camp at Union for 3 consecutive summers, so I can only comment on the accommodations and the area. Dorms had no A/C, which was a problem during one heat wave. The residence halls border some really nasty streets of Schenectady. The campus is tiny and there doesn't seem to be much to it. There is a train station very close by with Amtrak service. All in all I can't fathom anyone paying $65K a year to go there.

And that's a problem...why?

Not a problem at all. Just a contrast with Union.

The people I know that went to Union loved it. My impression is better than Connecticut College, but I'm a NYer, so I may be biased.

it is in Schenectedy, so probably. It isn't that far north in the scheme of things, and the upper midwest is colder.

Conn college doesn't have sororities or fraternities. It's one of the reasons I went there. You meet people in your dorm or through clubs, etc.
