Big problem for me too. I thought it was just me! I have some regular strap sports bras from Gap Body that are good.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. My theory is the racerback bras cause neck and shoulder tension due to the tightness in that area. Definitely not a support issue with me. I'm only a 36A.

I get bad tension headaches and I'm able to wear a racer back bra--I recommend getting a good massage (like from a therapist who regularly does therapeutic stuff and not just spa style fluff and puff) and cupping therapy. Cupping has seriously changed my life. All of my hot spots and trigger points are in my trapezius and shoulder areas.

Interesting about the headaches. I can see how the racer backs can put pressure on neck and shoulders.

I wear regular bars when exercising, but this happens to me with halter swimsuits. I am a D-DD, and basically your neck is holding up 5 lbs of weight and gives you a headache.

I realize this is an old thread but I suffer from migraines regularly and I have noticed that if I wear a racerback sports bra for longer than a workout, my migraine will start kicking in. The straps dig into the shoulder muscles there and blood flow changes hence triggering the headache/migraine. I would suggest a regular strap sports bra. There are numerous brands out there that carry these. I workout regularly with weights and HIIT and I always wear two sports bras. I love Lululemon but their Free to be Bra has no support whatsoever and will do the same thing if wearing for long periods of time.
