not the PP but my guess is you can tell by the directory and addresses. I know a handful of parents just by getting to know them that have COSA's. I am sure we have a lot in our school. I just honestly can not figure out why some of these people need them. A few are SAHM's with no other siblings in the school and no special needs. I remember it being really hard to get a COSA but they seem to have gotten them a lot easier. What I do see is that most of them are denied going into middle school and then the kids have to go to a middle school where they know zero kids. That doesn't seem fun.

No, you can't. All you can tell by the directory and addresses is that there are some people who list addresses that are not in the school attendance zone. You can't tell why.

Also, good news -- you don't have to figure out why people got COSAs, because it's none of your business anyway.

PP could be a teacher or other staff member. At my school, we have 15 (out of 700) on COSAs and 15 students in bounds that have COSAs to other schools. Our principal likes to keep it even, if possible.
