I heard Anthony Falci speak on the radio yesterday and someone asked if you got the zika virus and you were not pregnant, what would be the future, would it affect future children? The answer was that they did not know.

Anthony Falci is the director of Allergy Infectious Diseases at NIH.

Palm Desert/ Springs. Can fly direct via DCA on Alaskan to Long Beach or Ontario and drive. We went last year in March, temps between 80-95.

I'm guessing the Beach Club/Yacht Club (storm along bay) are sold out for spring break.


I'm currently looking at spring break options and they both still look available. Along with several other WDW resorts. Also, there is a sale right now on hotel/park tickets.

I get your point and as an international public health professional agree with your sentiment but in this case, it's not that we've been ignoring it bc it was only in Africa. It is NOT causing birth defects in Africa and is not a disease of significance there bc people
are thought to have some degree of resistance.

This is what I wonder too. If a young girl is exposed, does it pose any potential issues down the road when she gets pregnant 20 or 30 years later?

No one knows. They don't even know how it's causing birth defects and increased cases of Guillian Barre syndrome.
