I'd say the kind that keeps a roof over our head, bills paid, kids fed, and keeps me on my toes and ties me up in bed. Enough said.

Generally speaking anything white collar and at least middle management with exceptions sometimes being made for military and firefighters.
Of course 'generally speaking' doesn't mean shit.

It seems like the basic breakdown is if you do physical labor of any type, you are not white collar. If you make money by "thinking" or doing something thinky in a fairly neat office, you are white collar.
