DH's family is Italian and we ended up using a family names for the kids.
Our boy list was:
Angelo
Niccolo/Nicolas
Cesare
Rocco
Dominic
Vincent
Tommaso
Also, my son's BFF (until we had to move) was Tito and he had a little brother named Lorenzo with the imo adorable nickname Lolo.

Good point. Why do you have to have an Italian name because of the father. Your kids are only half Italian.

You don't necessarily have to have an Italian name. I met a half Italian boy named Charlie. His last name sounded excellent with the surname!
