Multiple people on another FAA thread have stated that the average award at their school is around $25,000 So I'm not sure why so many people are saying you won't get as much aid as you need.

So they can show demand for the school. Increases perception of prestige / desirability of many more are applying for each slot.


And in fairness, they do fully fund SOME kids. Just not as many as need full funding.
