Exactly. I wish this poster would stop posting this misleading information. Very irritating! Imported cases and locally transmitted cases are very different things.


The CDC is telling infected people to avoid mosquito bits so they don't transfer it, so while there aren't any yet, there is a concern.

If Hawaii, just be careful to avoid the island with the active dengue outbreaks. Dengue is painful!

We cancelled our trip to Costa Rica and decided we didnt want to go anywhere with mosquitos. My daughter and I get bit a lot though. We're going to Iceland!

My pregnant friend is booked on an Eastern Caribbean cruise and her doc told her to go. She's leaving next week and none of the ports are on the affected list.
