I get up around 4:15 am, at the gym by 5 and the home by 6:15 to get ready and help with the morning routine. I'm at work by 8.

Up around 5:30 during the week, and either hit the gym or run. Weekends, I take the kids (2 and 4) in the double jogger or to the gym with me (they love the kids room). It works mostly because I have a short commute, both to the kids' daycare and then on to my office.

I've always been a morning person, and don't feel right without my daily workouts. I do take one day off per week, but usually do yoga that day and/or lots of walking.

2 nights a week I go to the gym after dinner (spouse does bedtime with the kids). Both weekend mornings, we're at the gym with the kids in the gym childcare. I also take walks on the other evenings (even when it's raining or in the single digits!) after the kids go to bed if I haven't done other exercise that day.

Bike to work a few times a week.

I work out at 730/800 at night after I put the kids to bed. It's not ideal, but it's the best I can do. I wake up at 420 and it's a sprint to get myself and the kids out the door by 615ish. I get home around 5, so by time we do dinner, play, and baths, there is no time to work out until after the kids are in bed.

Alarm at 5:25 so I can meet running group at 6. Then home at 6:45 to shower and drive kids to school/myself to office.

Totally not a morning person, but I get up at 5am and ride the recumbent bike because it is literally the only time of day I can do it. Night time after putting the child to bed is a non-starter, as I am just too tired by that point and don't want to get all sweaty and have to take a shower before bed.

Walk to work four days a week (half hour each way), wake up at 6 a.m. twice a week for a run with a jogging partner, and go to Zumba once a week at 6:15pm (husband gets home at 6pm and stays with kids).

I was not a morning person before, but morning is by far the best time for running. And I feel great the rest of the day.

I'm home from work at 6:45, workout in the basement from 7:15 - 8:00 pm. In an ideal world, I'd get up at 5:30 am but my New Years resolution this year is to get 7 hours of sleep every night and so far, that's given me the most benefit. More sleep has given me more energy to do those later workouts and just helps me function better throughout the day.

I really don't have time to do lunch workouts, even though my office has a full gym. But I make an effort to get up and walk for 10 minutes every 1.5 hours and go for longer walks at tail end of lunch, and that has helped, too.

Other things that have helped: park in the furthest spot at school drop-off and the office; drink a lot of water and then walk to a different floor for bathroom breaks; stairs instead of (or in addition to) elevator; walk around to the back door instead of front. You have to look for little ways to get a little bit of exercise in.

Mornings, but I am in a unique and lucky situation. I have a short commute and get to the office around nine. My husband leaves with the kids at eight, drops them at daycare, and I work out then shower and go to work. He gets up at 4:30 or five to run most days and is back by seven.

Wake up at 6am to go to gym. 45 min work out. Back to home shower change while getting DC ready for school. Leave for work at 8:30pm.

I work about 15 minutes from home and I can make it to a 5:00 class at the gym and then pick up DC from daycare a little after 6:00. I do that twice during the week and then try to workout both weekend days. The other 3 weekdays I stay a little later at work to get caught up. I'm lucky to have a short commute. Otherwise it wouldn't work for me and I'd have to workout late at night.

Mornings. Get up at 6, run at 6:15 and home by 7:15. Then can shower quickly and get out the door by 8:15 or 8:30. DH does a LOT of the morning routine because I do kid pickup.

I'm not a morning person either and I hate getting up but I feel so much better when I do! My mantra when the alarm goes off is "you'll feel so much better after you do this." I've even thought of printing it out and laminating it to hang it by my bed.
