I heard that it was good to avoid bars because they usually have excess sugar. Do you know of any good ones? I'd love to be able to stock up my office for an emergency healthy snack.
The only bar I ever get is Pure Protein. It has 20g of protein for 200 calories. I frequently eat one for breakfast.

I've been researching the Vega protein powders. I tried Shakeology and wanted to gag.

I'm just not doing it. I'm saying I will but forget all the time and then end up getting lunch out. At what point would it be acceptable to you all for me to admit this isn't my strong suit and look at other options. I just want to drop 10-15 pounds I'm not trying to go crazy, this is a short term effort. And an attempt to break my desire for lunches out by breaking the habit.
Thank you to those who were helpful.
Has anyone tried ideal shake? Someone IRL recommended

Anonymous wrote:I know how it is during the day wanting good food to break up the day. Having good food/meal during the work day is like a little treat to ourselves and it makes us feel better. I know, I've been there. However, in my new job, I HAVE to pack a lunch. I have no option to leave or grab something else because I don't want what I brought. I have been making sandwiches, hummus and pretzels/veg, applesauce with cinnamon. I don't necessarily want that meal, but it's not bad for me and it fills me up. I suggest just trying packing your lunch for one week and eating it before your actual lunchtime to fill you up. That way, you will not WANT to go out to the food trucks, but maybe read a book or peruse DCUM, instead.
