I met a woman at a museum last week - we chatted, got her number, talked about our plans for the holidays and whatnot.
I didn't text her till today to ask her on a date (6 days later) because i've been out of town, busy, etc and I didn't want to text her until I knew that I had free time to ask her on a date.
I'm pretty sure she won't respond however as i've left it supposedly 'too late'.

He's the man, he should make the first date. No woman wants a baby-man.
My wife asked me out on our first date. I'm far from a baby man.
Heaven forbid anyone upset the apple cart of women sitting on their asses waiting for me to spend money on them and proposition them for sex.

OP here:
I think if you were really interested, you'd have made time to ask her out during these six days. That's ridiculous. You're just not into her...IMO, of course.
PP - I'm interested of course, otherwise I wouldn't have texted or thought of an interesting date that related to what we talked about when we met - just not super into her where i'm blowing up her phone because I don't know her well. I know that she was having family over and was also out of town so I wanted to text when both of us would have a higher chance of being free.
furthermore, i hate small talk via text and didn't want to text her until i had a concrete date proposition.
Well, good luck. Maybe she'll respond.
If not, call me, let's do lunch...
j/k
Hah - if two dcum posters met up on a date, it would devolve into scrolling through this place on an ipad looking for threads to troll. Or sex within an hour of meeting in a bathroom stall. No other middle ground.
