Sounds about right.
Fun to take both. The hspt score must make her very happy & the SSAT score isn't bad either.
Which schools?
SJC, Good Counsel, and Choate Rosemary Hall
No girls schools except boarding? Is she considering a Choate?
What did you think of SJC for a girl?

Those are great scores. Congrats!
PP here. Thank you for the congrats. He's applying to Sidwell, STA, SJC and Georgetown Prep. I've been told those scores are good enough for Big 3 but coming from a public I am concerned that just because he CAN get in doesn't mean he should go to a pressure cooker. He wants to play at least 2 sports. Any advice? My spouse thinks we should just send him to Wilson.

It really depends on what you are looking to get out of the HS experience, PP. If his grades are as strong as his scores OP, and he's happy enough in DCPS, he'll have a far better shot at a prestigious college by being a top student at Wilson. There is something about excelling there that excites the Ivies & other top schools. Whereas if he goes to private, he won't be as differentiated from all the other top kids fighting it out for slots. Something to think about...
