Get one at the end of the reporting year (which is around the middle of the calendar year). It's a percent of salary, based on performance.

I have never received a bonus, and frankly, I wouldn't want part of my annual salary to be contingent.

I work in my own private practice. No bonus, of course. My clients will often give me small gifts and nice cards, so there's that.
Happy Holidays!

University employee. In five years we've never gotten a bonus. Typically they'll give us the week off between Xmas and New Year's instead. Which is nice, to be sure, but I'd trade those days for some cold, hard cash.

I got a Starbucks gift card and a card from the boss the other day ? Have not looked at the amount. But cash money? Nope. Small nonprofit.

Federal employee here. No holiday bonus for us.
My boss gave us each a $5 trinket, though. Woot!

I'm at a nonprofit, so no holiday bonuses for us. I manage a small team and I get them each small gift cards for lunch (I pay for them, not my organization).

I get one yearly, but the amount has varied. Something is better than nothing.

I've gotten a bonus exactly once: $50. Ah, the non-profit world.

Defense contractor; senior technical staff (salary 165K), my last bonus was 2013, but it was not holiday time, it was two months after the fiscal year ended (around April 1).
In my career, I have received bonuses about 1/2 of the years.

I work for local government and am considered Emergency personnel. I don't get a bonus but I get 8 hours of Holiday pay for the day itself. If we have to work we get double time and a half.

we do not get a holiday bonus as our bonuses are paid at the end of our company's year (September). Our company does shut down from Dec 24th - Jan 4th, so that's a huge bonus, just not in cash
