My guy says the trick is to feel him well and give BJs. He routinely thanks me for being his best friend. I think the key to anyone's heart is the desire to take care of each other's needs. A little bit goes a long way.

Who would want to put up with YOUR attitude, nevertheless pay for it as well?

He can get those anywhere, though. Why would it make you special to do those things?

You can't be serious. There are plenty of DHs who aren't getting one, the other or both. I think it's rare to find a woman who really truly takes care of her man.

It is not rare. Knock it off.

NP here. You have stats to back that up? I love my DW, but I do most of the cooking and she doesn't exactly make up for it in the bedroom.

Yet they still insist on extorting men into marriage.

OP is part of the problem. This PP is on the other end of the spectrum.

Too many men are misogynists who think a woman's role is to serve. Too many women think it's fashionable to denigrate men and their relationship with men. In too many social circles based on gender, it's looked down upon if a man or a woman caters to their spouse and makes their wants a priority. Men are whipped. Women are anti-feminists.

Yeah, I don't get either one. I know I'm not someone who would ever, ever, ever, ever let someone walk all over me. So I don't worry too much that by "spoiling" my husband that I'll end up as his neglected servant. Never going to happen.

It's great when you're with someone who appreciates all you have to give but who is also a giver.

NP here:
How about compatibility? Shared interests? Growing in love for one another -- but not control?

Where in this thread is the focus on caring, respect and dreams of a future together?

Signed,
A DW for 20 years who knows what she's talking about and doesn't need keys to anything!

Being his best friend. It seems cliche, but finally, later in life and after a long marriage that failed, I think it's the key to each others hearts. If we are each others best friend, then we will have our partner's back, we can communicate, support, speak honestly without hurting the other, laugh and have fun.
