Op, the exact same thing happened to me. She emailed me. We met. He told us both the same lies, gave us the same gifts at Christmas, talked about the children he'd have with both of us, etc. it took a good amount of time for me to even think about it without feeling line I was going to throw up (many months).

I'm so sorry you are going through this. You are so much better off without him. I've come to realize the guy I dated was a narcissist. It was all about him and his who.

This was us. He talked about being a father and all that. I don't have much dating experience, and very little luck with men, so I guess I was easy to fool and fell for it.

Sounds as though you introduced him to your family and your friends. He introduced you to some of his friends but not his family which is actually pretty typical of these jerks.

I met him online back in the spring.. I know cheesy. But, I'm not the type of woman who goes out to a bar or club or anywhere that guys notice and ask out. I'm just not. As I've said he met my friends and my sisters, and I met his friends. Things were going well until today when I get a message from his girlfriend going off on me saying they've been together almost 3 years and she won't give him up without a fight calling me all sorts of names.

I don't know. I just don't know. He and I both have jobs that require long and odd hours that required scheduling time to be together. I guess he wasn't working all the times he said he was.

He met my friends and some of my family, my sisters who I'm close with and played the perfect boyfriend. I met some of his friends, and no no one ever said a thing.
