NP, small government agency. I am a manager, and have a situational telework agreement, which works well for me. Most of my staff telework 1 or 2 days per week.

GS 13 small gov't agency. Have been there 4 years and have 2 telework days/week. Most people have at least one. Unless they are new or contractors. No one has more than 2.

DH works for Dept. of Treasury and "can" telework once a week but doesn't. Too many meetings. Good friend works for the IRS and now works from home full-time (did go into the office once every week or two). Just brought all her office stuff home, I think she will have to go into the DC office once every few months.

Federal Court Analyst - Equivalent to GS-15. Go into the office 1 day per week. Get a TON of work done at home - no distractions, no water cooler chit chat, and no need to attend time wasting meetings listening to judges who love the sound of the own voices.

My DOJ component allows 50% telework.

For me in several DOJ offices, it has been supervisor-dependent. From only in rare cases to 2 days a week. I'm a GS-15, non-supervisor.

What a nosy question.

SSA attorney with 3 telework days a week. We are hearing a 4th is coming (can also telework when there is weekend OT). Ours is in our union contract, so no management discretion. GS-13, but GS-12s have the same benefit (no telework your 1st probationary, GS-11 year).

Same here. DOJ, GS 14.

DOJ agency here. We generally only telework when OPM announces the government closed. Our office interacts a lot with our field divisions across the country so just because DC is closed, doesn't mean business in all our other divisions stops.

Census Bureau (DOC), GS-13. Per our telework, agreement people can telework up to 4 days per pay period. There are some areas that cannot telework during certain times in their survey work (sensitive data that cannot be accessed externally).

DoD here. I can telework on an as needed basis. Lots of the analysts telework regularly.

This isn't true. DoD has a telework policy. My last office had telework two days a week. Current office has one day a week and situational. They encourage it. Unless you need SIPR access or work in a secure facility, telework is possible.

Many people who say DOD mean CIA or other intelligence agencies and they can't telework.

I work for an agency under DOI, GS 12, telework 1x/week or as needed.

I'm the pp. Pretty much everyone else in my Bureau teleworks, it's just my immediate office that doesn't allow it. Totally depends on your boss. Old boss loved telework, new one doesn't allow it at all.

What a jerk
