Nick and Adalind seem so forced and fake... Adalind and her magic womb which gets impregnated on her first time - has she not heard of friggin contraceptives. Juliet's character was initially annoying then they destroyed it to make Adalind more likable (though I must say I LOVE Eve) Grimm was initially fun then they introduce someone like Truble who was friggin kick ass and just make her disappear so Nick's character doesn't get outshined, then they inexplicably turn Renard into a bad guy - why, so that Nick can look like a bad ass hero... Sorry but their weak attempts in the end to make Nick the hero just flopped, Eve is the hero, Eve and little mutant Diana.

Because they continue the series for too long and there is just nothing left to the story line. I have watched quite a few British shows that were awesome but they smartly ended the series after a few seasons. Example - Downton Abbey. Seriously, in the US, this would have dragged on for years a la Law & Order. The British seem to have a better sense that TV shows are story based and once the story plays out, it's ok to end it.

Largely its for the same reasons - the original show runner leaves, the original script writers are replaced and the original producers give the work over to new people too.The same thing happened with LOST and many other shows which peaked early and then sort of faded out.

I was just perusing this thread and your post made me laugh. I stopped watching a while ago. I liked Monroe and Rosalie but found Juliette insufferable. The plot lines got boring and I lost interest.

...aaaaaaand it's BACK! The German catacomb episode was awesome sauce - back to its origins with lots of Nick and Monroe and barely any Juliette at all. Thank God, I was about to give up on it.
