Kennedy co-authored one of the articles to which I linked. However, she doesn't mention this in her article and no child is mentioned as being among the passengers removed from the plane. My guess is that the woman and child she tweeted about where not among those removed. Otherwise, you are correct, the moving about the aircraft would be the "suspicious activity".

Uhh...no. You referred to irrational fear. That suggests that there could be rational fears. Just wondering what an example would be. If you can't provide one, that's ok.

It's not that difficult. Let's say the attacks on planes or via plane were "common", than it would be a rational fear. But they are not, and I doubt the person that complained even knew what religion these people were besides an assumption based on complexion.

Worrying about developing preeclampsia during pregnancy because 3-5% (fairly high) of woman do? Rational fear.
Worrying about you child because you just found out they are in a theatre that has a gunman inside? Rational fear.
Not letting your child go to the movies because of a couple attacks on theaters around the country? Irrational fear.

It really depends on the numbers and how you interpret them, which is why some people just fear everything because for them "any chance" to too great.
