We just adopted baby gerbils from a foster home a couple of months ago. It was the first night with the gerbils, and it got out of it's little ball, and was tearing around the room. I managed to catch it, and the gerbil bit down on my finger very hard. So hard, that I couldn't get it off. I was freaked out about rabies and everything else. When I researched it on the internet, the consensus was to treat it as any other wound, and it would be ok. So I put hydrogen pyroxide on it and an antibiotic band aid, and it was fine. Hope this helps.

Wow that's mean, PP.

I would just hack off the offending limb with a chainsaw. Better safe than sorry.

Go to the ER right now. You'll probably need to amputate to stop the spread of disease. Texting will be difficult, but you'll survive.
