Toaster oven. Get a bigger sized one.

I'm in love with my Breville toaster oven. It does everything and I bought some pans that fit it in perfectly and could definitely survive with only this appliance.

Yes, it was more money than I wanted to spend on a toaster oven, but it's been worth every penny and is a lot smarter than I am, so everything comes out perfectly.

I use my oven a lot so this would alter our typical dinners, too, op.

I would make:
spaghetti & meatballs (cook the meatballs in the sauce sauce on the stovetop)
eggs & bacon
fish tacos (saute the fish in a pan on stovetop)
store bought rotisserie chicken
rice & beans
stir fries (I could eat different stir fries every night of the week, but my family wouldn't!)
fried rice (using some of the leftover rotisserie chicken, egg, frozen veggies, and rice)

Do you really use the oven that much? I try not to use mine more than once a week because it's electric and makes my whole house hot.

Op here. I usually bake things like pork chops, chicken breasts, the hard shells for tacos. Leftover chicken gets baked into chicken pot pie. I bake my lentil meatballs and falafel (which I've been frying lately). We also bake our salmon and other fish. I don't use it that much, but I do need it a few times a week and have just gotten in a rut without it! Appreciate the ideas to help me branch out!

I found that skillet pork chop recipe, which we will try tonight. Range top is fine.

I know I can use the grill, but we just have charcoal and it isn't my thing - I have to learn how to get it started, plus get home in time to warm up the grill and cook something! Then I need to re-learn all of my cooking times....

I reAlize the grill is not your fave option but how about making a big batch or burgers or turkey burgers and have that last for 3 days? We just had our kitchen remodel finished and did that for about 2 months (not burgers everyday but big batches of meat stuff cooked on the grill and then reheated for a week). Serve with salad. Try different veg, put apples into a salad etc.

I'm curious too. My oven has been broken for months and I'm not getting a new one until next summer when we do a remodel. I cook everything on thr grill and pan. Only thing I really miss is not being able to roast veggies. I'm contemplating getting a breville.

NP here. I also don't understand the point of this post. I use my stove all the time. What's the problem? I mostly only use my oven for roasting vegetables and baking cookies. And the rare lasagna.

Indian food - rarely is an oven used, other than a tandoor for naan, which most home cooks aren't doing anyway.

What would you normally be cooking in the oven? That might help everyone give you better ideas for meals you can make without an oven.
