I am not very familiar with her songs, but wow, she got my attention on SNL. As I listened, I thought to myself, "This woman CAN SING."

I say good for her for hiding her face. She doesn't want the dark side of fame. She is fragile and I think she may have even done a suicide attempt in the past. She doesn't need people obsessing over her looks when her voice is so full of beauty. She doesn't want to be hounded by the press. She doesn't have the narcissism that sometimes goes with celebrity. She's an artist and just wants to be known for her art. Love her!!

She, unlike most popular stars, really can sing. Really....because most people have forgotten what singing sounds like what with all the yelling and auto tune. Her dancing friends give people something to watch as she would prefer you are not looking at her. Most of these dances, or whatever they are looking like the crap I used to when I was about 7 in my bedroom when left to my own devices and some music. No computers or play station then.
Most singers don't hide their face and so you are entertained by watching their expression and/or watching them gyrate around on stage. Instead of that, because she doesn't want to be recognized when she goes out so hides her face, she has other people "perform" and capture people's attention while she sings. I think it totally works, but I guess some of you don't agree. Whatev.
