Sorry but I do NOT think most women have a 1.5 carat ring. Maybe in rich affluent social circles but that is not reflective of the majority of the population. The nationwide average is MUCH smaller.

I don't pay much attention, but a majority don't even wear rings. What's the point of the question? Seems incredibly pointless. Why am I answering? I like shiny things, that's why. I don't wear rings either, but I have a .75 solitaire of extremely high quality. It looks right to me. Too bad it's from my ex, so I can't wear it. My current never gave me one, and that's fine.

And "LOL" @ the person in their late 20s and the average size is 1.5 carats. That's such an age where each girl is competition to be the "Best Pintrest Bride," have 14 bridemaids/sorority sistrs, and they are all competing over ring sizes.

I would say in my circle of materialistic, superficial friends our rings range from .5 carats to 2ish carats, all shapes, styles, metals, and stones depending on the era of engagement and various other factors.
