I've always eaten store baked stuff since its fresher, has less stuff and tastes better. I'm just going not get roast beef anymore but turkey and chicken should be fine. Same as if I roasted it and sliced it super thin.

For me, salt and other additives make turkey and chicken more appetizing and less gamey. I could not eat it naked.

what about "organic" turkey slices? I got organic oven roasted turkey slices from costco, and it says nitrate free, hormone free, etc....

Careful! Some -- even frozen -- chicken is "enhanced" with salt injections! Costco is one place with such "enhanced" frozen chicken breasts.
