I am female. One "couple" went before me and another after me. The boy was older and I had just met him. My "friends" pressured me into it. The real problem though was my mother and her influence one life. I was not taught self respect. I saw sex and drugs as a way of life. I have come so far! But this is my secret, and I have never told anyone. The support I have just received is extremely comforting.

I love my DH very much; he is one of the brightest, most caring, loyal and hardworking people I know. However, it's very clear to me that he has been living with ADHD and possibly OCD for his whole life, and it's keeping him from achieving his full potential in his work (he's self employed in design field).
He constantly underestimates the amount of time it takes to do tasks. He gets lost in one minor detail of a task and will totally lose track of time, working at something for hours. He becomes very upset if he isn't able to do things in his exact methodology due to outside pressure or circumstances; he feels like "why bother if I can't do it 'right.'" He is chronically late. He is not good at organizing himself, setting milestones and sticking to them. I try not to involve him in too many daily household tasks, because he can insist upon doing them a certain way that takes much longer, and so nothing gets done.
I've tried to broach the subject with him, but he always takes it very personally and gets offended when I suggest that he might benefit from medication. It's very hard.

Yeah, it's unclear if the OP was "one of the guys" waiting his turn or if the OP was the person abused. Either way, it's awful.
I am horrified by this. This is rape/abuse. I am so so sorry you had to go through this, this is not some shameful secret you have to hide. Giant hug your way.
