My dentist sent me to a specialist to get Botox injected into my jaw muscles, and it stopped my from clenching/grinding completely, plus made me sleep better, plus eliminated TMJ induced headaches. AND --unexpected bonus!--it changed the angle of my jaw as my giant, overdeveloped jaw muscles went away after they couldn't clench all night.

I saw Dr. Piontkowski in Bethesda for chronic clicking on one side, but no pain. He made an acrylic splint, which I am supposed to wear 24/7, even to eat. The clicking has only gotten worse and I'm out several thousand dollars at the point. I will try Dr. Rogers instead.
