I do not purposely watch tear jerker movies. A movie might make me cry but if I knew that would be part of the experience I probably would look at that as a negative. I find it interesting that some people look for an experience that will make them cry. Interesting, no judgement here, just interesting.

^^I should add I would never watch Dear Zachary again....just that it's a guaranteed tear-jerker and that fact that it's true is 100x worse

I have movies I just have to stop watching at certain points because I know what's coming - beaches and steel magnolias, I'm looking at you.

I cry at those disaster movies, though - Armageddon and deep impact. Deep impact when the guy is saying bye to his kid he can't see?

What Dreams May Come

The saddest, most heartbreaking movie I've ever seen is The Broken Circle Breakdown. But even though it's a really good movie, I can't recommend it, because it's just so heartbreaking.

Out of Africa always makes me cry at the end, too.
