As others have mentioned the dust gets EVERYWHERE so the second time around we did a better job of covering, wrapping just about everything - somethings we needed access to so we found ways to get to them but still keep the majority of the dust out. We also go zip lock flexible totes with zippers for our clothing in closets, blankets, towels.

For our work clothes and things hanging in the closet we got plastic hanging wardrobe coverings that zipped - we could protect our coats, business outfits and still have access to them. I was a much happier person after this renovation as a result of all of our pre-planning.
