I wouldn't be able to eat anything.
I would order lots of Red Bull and spend the night penning an article for the New York Times about my fate. It would be my David Gale moment.
I wouldn't be in total despair. There would be a degree of thrill in knowing that my piece would certainly be published. Also, I bet an agent would finally be willing to take a look at my novel if this happened; I would be sure to mention its existence in the article.

Dirty martini with a cheese plate and baguette, lobster with roasted Brussels sprouts and sweet potato and a bottle of Sauvignon blanc, hot fudge brownie sundae with a glass of amaretto.

King crab, with melted butter for dipping. Roasted vegetables of all kind - Brussels sprouts, broccoli, asparagus. Baled sweet potatoes with brown sugar sprinkled on top.

-chips with chili con queso & guacamole

-a couple of margaritas on the rocks with salt

-a good salad with Roquefort
-filet mignon
-mashed potatoes
-creamed spinach

-a good wine, probably a Burgandy
