I think if jeff is removing the thread discussing the local Ashley Madison cheaters to protect the men, then he should similarly remove a thread by a man complaining about his wife's weight 5 months after giving birth. The man should be on DCUB asking baby questions/advice not critiquing his wife's weight.

Now that I think of it, i have reported a few posts for misogyny. I stopped a few weeks ago because none of them ever got taken down.

I'd hate to doubt your veracity, but I doubt your veracity. You went from "never reported" to "reported a few" in the course of two posts. Plus, I have spent a hell of a lot of time over the past months deleting posts that were reported due to misogyny. I have probably banned half a dozen posters (all men). If you really reported a post and I didn't do anything about it, I would be very surprised. So surprised, in fact, I'm going to check right now to see if you have reported any posts lately.

If you believe posts are inappropriate and should be removed, (a) report them and (b) if you think Jeff might be oblivious to the reason why the post is inappropriate, explain why you think it should be removed.

Jeff has said many times that he enjoys and reads the political forum. If you want his attention on something else you have to bring that something else to his attention.

Usually the MRA/PUA idiots are being well handled / ignored by the vast majority of participants on this site, and so Jeff's admin involvement isn't necessary.

In the political threads, when the racism / classism / homophobia / etc. fires up, the threads can quickly devolve into useless flame wars, and I've generally seen Jeff step in appropriately.

I don't think your reply was appropriate for that particular poster (who after all, is my fan). As I said, I think the blind spot she observed exists because I am literally blind to posts that I don't read.

The poster who wants no forms of discrimination may well be happier elsewhere. I don't know how such a site could exist, particularly because no two people would completely agree about which posts are discriminatory.
