ill say something: Congratulations! And how did you do it?
Wow- time to get a few fitted clothing items- you probably are wearing clothes too big and people don't see you under them. Congrats- that's great. I'd love to know how you did it as well.
Thanks, and I'm not really worried about people noticing or not. I was mostly doing it to feel better and be healthier, and I also know that there's some awkwardness around commenting on people's weight, so it's cool that no one has been publicly gushing about my new size.
As for how I did it: it's been all My Fitness Pal. I've posted on here about it before, so forgive the repetitiveness, but it's really just calories in and calories out. I've increased my walking and bicycling, and I've decreased my caloric intake. They keys on the calorie side have been less mindless snacking and less eating out. I've cut restaurants out of my life almost entirely (maybe 2x/month now), and I don't miss them at all. I've also filled my fridge with healthy snacks, mostly fruits and vegetables. I've started buying way more fruits and vegetables than I used to--even at the risk that some will go bad--because it means that I never get to a day where all I've got left to eat is packaged junk. I still eat lots of food that tastes great--enchilada casserole last night and toast with PB and honey this morning--but I don't eat excessive amounts of it, and I only eat it when I'm actually hungry. The biggest side benefit to this approach has been that I don't feel heavy and bloated from eating big meals every day. And I didn't even know I felt that way until I changed my diet.
