Black bean soup

Tortilla Pie (http://www.marthastewart.com/336692/tortilla-and-black-bean-pie)
You could probably find a vegetarian tamale pie
I've never tried this recipe, but I've been wanting to: http://dinersjournal.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/07/01/my-new-favorite-thing/?scp=1&sq=bittman%25252520chickpea%25252520fries&st=cse&_r=0
NP-Thanks for sharing this! I tried the tortilla pie recipe this week, and it was awesome! I used chicken stock instead of water for more flavor since I didn't have beer on hand. If I'm making it for vegetarians in the future, beer will definitely be the way to go.

We make a lentil shepherd's pie that is really yummy. The lentils replace the ground meat.
A lot of the recipes sound great but do have cheese and I am try to cut back, nor can we use most nuts. But thank you, and any other ideas would be appreciated, too!
