We inherited ours and love it because we have NEVER once watered our yard in 15 years.

OMG it is so invasive. We cannot get rid of it. Every flower bed. The vegetable garden. The swing set area that is supposed to be safely covered with mulch now has to be mowed.

Hate the stuff.

Not sure why people think it's not comfortable to walk on - it's fine right now? Maybe that's in winter? We all wear shoes outside, so haven't had issues...

We have a few weeds in the yard, but not nearly as many as the parts of our yard with other grasses. We have been pretty happy.

Is it creeping into the other lawns in your yard?

I'm pretty sure the neighbors have the same thing? I know the one does, will see about the other this winter I guess.

Our next door neighbor has it and it's SO ugly for most of the year. Really, it looks like something is really wrong with the lawn. I also find it really stiff to walk on.
