As a mother to a little boy that picture just broke my heart. Poor little baby. I saw on the news his 5 (I think) year old brother and mother also died. Bless them.

This is why it is important for a country to have neighboring countries be stable. Otherwise, this is what you get - hoards of refugees that could de-stabilize a country, not that I blame the refugees. I'd be right there with them if this was happening to my family.

Take the whole.family. Not sure how separating children from their parents is the answer. Frankly, the answer lies in stabilizing a chhunk of Syria and all of Iraq. So many missteps by this administration. Pulling out of Iraq, not defending the "red line" in Syria. Agghh.

Go to Glenn Beck's Mercury One. He already has a fund set called the Nazarene fund up that you can donate to to bring families here. He said the problem we are having is Obama will not let them in. Beck said he will personally go down to the border to walk them in if he has to (and there's an army of people who plan to join him). He is also setting up host families.
