Subject: what would you do with an infusion of cash?
I've always said that if I could get my hands on $200k I'd buy a little place near the beach. That's what I'd do. Not oceanfront. Perhaps a townhouse or SFH ten minutes from the beach (think: Milville, DE).
But DH and I both will receive pensions and have $ for college, so it's easy to dream about blowing $200 on something frivolous.

what would I do?
pay off big tax and health care bills
do some home renovations
travel
save
I think $200k would cover the first 2, maybe we could squeeze in the 3rd. Likely not much in the savings category.
