Testament of Youth by Vera Britten
The Way We Never Were by Stephanie Coontz
Poetry -- Willliam Carlos Williams and Wallace Stevens were standout

That was gooooooood. Did you read the book his sister recently wrote about how they grew up and what happened after he was gone? It was beautiful (even though by the end I really disliked the sister/author).

Cadillac Desert by Marc Reisner. It's about the history of water rights and policy in the American west. Probably still a good read even though it won't be completely up to date.


This is an awesome book.
