I've never been home when the cleaning service is working. No clue. I would rather they wear shoes than fall or get hurt. Not a big deal.

They can be a safety hazard (slipping on stairs).
You can say that again. I'm a real estate agent and have slipped while wearing these many times. I would never ask someone to wear these while carrying a vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs.

It's gross for anyone to wear outdoor shoes inside the home. Unless it's right before clean up time. I can't imagine a cleaner leaving their outdoor shoes on. It doesn't make sense! I always have extra clean slippers for visitors.
