I literally just left the bathroom from peeing, came back to my room, sat down, and farted... peeing myself. Where did it even come from, I just emptied my bladder? I didn't even push the fart, it came on it's own. Never had kids... just a naturally weak pelvic floor, no matter how many exercises. *sigh* Bodies are dumb.

So there's that. It could always be worse, lol. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yesterday I absentmindedly ate this super spicy chip from a bag that DH had bought and I nearly peed myself.

Would like to add that this can also be related to constipation and faecal loading. I.E. a poop build up.

I suggest anyone seeing this post for the same reason goes for an x-ray or CT to check that they haven't got a poop build up. Its actually more common than you may think, and the build up places pressure on your bladder, causing you to pee more frequently and also release pee when you are pushing out a fart lol.

It can also be related to IBS or endometriosis, so if you have other symptoms also, you might want to see a specialist.

/have had this issue and researched it thoroughly, seen specialists for it and wish I'd addressed it sooner

See a pelvic floor physical therapist. Where do you live? VHC and GW have good ones that take insurance.

Thirding this - I just completed pelvic floor PT AND I also did PT to close my diastasis. There is help - you don't have to have this! Plus my PT person told me it can get worse if left unaddressed when you are older...
