Eating organic or not is a trivial issue. It is not a moral issue. It is not a character issue. It is not a fault or a flaw. It is not a political or religious conflict or a disagreement on the role of family, kids and inlaws. At most, it is a preference issue, along the lines of I like the thermostat set at 76 in the summer and my husband likes it set at 79.
If you cannot manage this one or give a little (as he apparently at least trying to meet you half way) then you are in for a long struggle.
Better rip the bandaid off now vs the long painful slow death of a relationship with kids, property and more.
